NLS Nile Corporation is a Kenyan plant hire and site logistics company based in Nairobi. The business was set up around a simple frustration shared by most site teams: hire plant that arrives late, breaks down, or comes without the paperwork your HSE file needs costs far more than the hire rate itself. Everything here — the fleet, the workshop, the dispatch desk — exists to take that risk off the contractor.
Today the fleet runs to seventeen machines and trucks across five families: excavators and backhoes; wheel loaders, dozers and skid steers; graders and rollers; a tipper and flatbed fleet from 6-wheelers to heavy quarry tippers; and small site plant including mixers, compressors, poker vibrators and a mobile crusher. Machines are serviced on schedule in our own workshop and mobilised by lowbed from our Nairobi yard to sites across Kenya.
Our clients are main contractors, developers, county and public-works projects, quarries and private builds. Most plant goes out on operated hire with certified operators; bare hire, long-term contract rates and full earthworks packages are available where they suit the job better. Whether it is one backhoe for a week or a priced plant package for a whole phase, one desk coordinates it from quote to off-hire.
